Great Strides: Taking Steps to Cure Cystic Fibrosis

This weekend our family walked the Summit County Great Strides 5K (click the link to see the slideshow) in support of Mason Rogers.  Great Strides is the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation's largest national fundraising event. Tens of thousands of co-workers, friends and family come together each year in different communities all over the U.S. for one cause... to find a cure for CF.

One of my former University of Washington football players Matt Rogers' son, Mason, is 4 years old and living with Cystic Fibrosis. Their family experience has raised my awareness of Cystic Fibrosis.  I am humbled and inspired by their strength, hope and perseverance!  They are a beautiful family that is living life to the fullest!  A great reminder to be mindful everyday and cherish the precious life of our little ones.  What an amazing gift of joy and inspiration they are.

TEAM ROGERS, nationwide, has exceeded their goal! Thanks for all your support for TEAM ROGERS - COLORADO!  It's not too late to donate! You can go to our page at http://www.cff.org/Great_Strides/dsp_DonationPage.cfm?walkid=8057&idUser=538962
